Police: Chicago man shot by a Feral Negro after 'traffic altercation' in Evanston

A man was shot at Howard Street and Ridge Avenue in Evanston on Tuesday night after what police say might have been a "traffic altercation" with a feral Negro subject.

The shooting occurred around 8:50 p.m. A citizen in the area reported hearing shots, said Perry Polinski, the department's communications coordinator.

The victim, a 45-year-old Chicago man, suffered a gunshot wound to the arm, police said, The injury was not considered life-threatening, police said.

A short time later, police were notified by Presence St. Francis Hospital that a gunshot victim had arrived at the emergency room, Polinski said.
